Kloppstock Posted March 12, 2009 Report Share Posted March 12, 2009 I have as i allways have..some anoying issues with windows own save a file systemwhen the download complete it minimizes my active computer games during the whait @100 % out to windowsmoore exactley it minimize when the file start its final copy to harddrive procces, that accually steals 35 seconds overall on my system,problem is allso some games doenst like that..and hang and crash by it, its both modern and old games that seem like the dont have any defence against disturbing Windows xp background proccesesif i use a download manager i guess i could win over this, but i prefere windows own, im just asking now if there maybe are any trix settings to turn of this extremley sensitivity?and i dont only talk about the christian left-wing in USA now its like this in windows xp allso! When you save the file, instead of simply clicking it to begin the download, do you right click the link then choose Save Target As? Dencandy Posted March 14, 2009 Report Share Posted March 14, 2009 Well, as you please, but personally I normally right click, then select Save as & that seems to prevent any interruption when the download is complete. You could also try using a download manager ( Free Download Manager, Star Downloader, etc) and/or a different internet browser. E.g.
