catgate
Have a look at this http://www.softwarepatch.com/tips/isass.html . I know little about XP, but this might help to define your problem more clearly.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Why can't you boot into the CD - could you do it originally? If so, change the boot sequence in the BIOS; CD first.B.t.w. what version of XP are you trying to install? If the computer is new, it should be SP3; some newer devices may not be recognized by earlier XP versions>

I began to install Windows black but it seems that it has some errors in it. If I boot from Cd nothing happens , even if I put the original Windows Cd in the computer, the windows instalation continues. The error message apairs again, and it restarts. I can't go back to format the Hard drive.
tzatza
have seen the error message : "Insuficient system resources..." or "An internal error occured" or "a writing operetaion was attempted a volume..." ( I couldn't read all the text because it disappears very fast)

tzatza
I think I resolved the problem. I used another Cd ROOM device and the computer booted from Cd and I could format the Hard and now I am indtalling the original Windows.
