Johan Posted May 10, 2009 Report Share Posted May 10, 2009 1. i had expired free download avg2. got virus3. took pc in to pc techno4. he did a hasty job5. reload windows xp6. new account no password7. at 2nd visit and my request he copied original user name documents onto new main user8. when i right click start and explore i see old user name but its not accessable9. i need programs from previous user account10. how do i access those?or1. i see works and office upgrade on strart rightclick explore2. how do i install from my own pc these 2 programs on my new username?3. tried to locate correct files but failing so... From that account you can access all files, but you may have to "take ownership" of some of them using this method from Microsoft: TAKE OWNERSHIP.
