NK33 Posted May 19, 2009 Report Share Posted May 19, 2009 this is the strangest problem i have ever seen.Whenever i click on search either on google or msn I get the following message:"Internet explorer encountered a problem and needs to close"Absolutely everything else is fine. 9eg i can do a search on Yahoo no problem)I have tried IE 6, 7, & 8 and they all do the same.I have windows XP ProfessionalI have scanned for malware/spyware using both Malwarebytes anti-malware and super anti-spyware.I have installed every single update from Microsoft Update.I have cleared all temporary files. I only need a solution so I can go back and fix it - it is my friends machine.The same issue does happen with Mozilla and Avant browsers.
