McGrubber2 Posted May 21, 2009 Report Share Posted May 21, 2009 I just bought a Dell Vista machine and set up two limited accounts for my kids, just like I had on my XP machine. However, when I login to their accounts the screen pauses for five seconds and logs them off. I can only log into them if I change the account type to administrator. If you start messing about with things it may void the warranty.If you brought it from someone second hand contact that person to see if they had that problem.I think there's a module called User Account Control in Vista which may be relevant, but I know nothing about it.
