Eugen Posted May 30, 2009 Report Share Posted May 30, 2009 I have a motherboard QDI Advance 10T which with the following support (description):Three 168-pin 3.3V PC133 DIMM socketsSupport up to 1.5GB SDRAMSupport 66/100/133MHz Synchronous DRAM and 66MHz EDO DRAM Now I have Installed 2 Sdram PC100 of 128 MB each.Can I buy and add another Sdram Pc133 of 256 Mb to my system.Can I use together Pc100 with Pc133 ram and the system works fine.I have heard that there are some 256 Pc100/133 Ram that can be found.Can you explain me which is the best way to increase my ram on my compiuter? Boris Posted May 30, 2009 Report Share Posted May 30, 2009 In your previous posts you said that you had an overclocked to 1310mhz Pentium 3 CPU and 320MB SD-RAM ?You can normally run PC100 and PC133 modules at the same time, but using SPD the sticks will only run at the speed of the lowest stick (PC100).512MB will be better than your existing 256MB.Here are examples of what PC133 RAM can still be obtained (and prices) :-http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/listparts....l=Advance%2010Tbut the QDI Advance 10T is now a very old Socket 370 board ! - IMHO it is hardly worth spending any more money on trying to improve its performance.
