Bad connection

Hey there!

this is going to be tough to explain, because i havent been able to determine the source.

Usualy i need 20-30 seconds to acces google, if it's taking too long i get a msg saying:

- the server has timed-out trying to acces the site or

- the connection was terminated by the connection provider, or something similar i don't remember clearly.

When i get one of these 2 msges i normaly press refresh numerous times, until suddenly everything works out normaly like nothing is wrong  .

After that the connection is close to perfect for like 10-15s.

Yesterday two ISP guys came to check my connection, they took arround 5 minutes, but i wasn't paying too much attention :D . My connection was flawless and i was so happy, but after restarting the computer it was all gone :0 .

They were setting new DNS servers, and something with proxy. They said i should use firefox, dunno why.

After the reset my connection was even worser. I couldn't even acces msn, i was getting a new msg at windows live's troubleshooter: default gateway is offline. I don't even know what that means, i'm not quite shure if they changed that setting aswell.

thx for reading, ill try to be active daily, hope my problem is solvable  !

Did you take up their recommendation and try Firefox?

If you've had someone to fix the problem and the problem is still there, they not very good at their job. Get them back to fix things properly.
