nadim_gawdat Posted June 28, 2009 Report Share Posted June 28, 2009 Well it's kind of silly but it's annoying and I think it may affect in future, the thing is that some days ago I noticed that everytime I start the computer there's a shortcut of "My Pc" on the "Programs" menu, I erase it all the time and it appears everytime, I don't know why is this happening, also I installed a program these days and it didn't generate a Folder in the programs menu Can someone give me a clue?? I have always had a short cut to My Computer on every computer that I have owned. :DJeje the thing that I got Windows in other language I forgot that in English it's "My Computer" and the problem is that every time a shortcut is place in the "Programs" folder of the Start Menu after reboot it's converted automatically to a "My Computer" shortcut Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
andsome Posted June 29, 2009 Report Share Posted June 29, 2009 When I want to place a shortcut to a program into the start menu, I click on start/All programs, then right click on the program in question and select 'pin to start menu', how do you do this? nadim_gawdat Posted June 30, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 30, 2009 I don't know if I'm not making myself understand, the problem is that when any program creates a shortcut automatically is converted to a "My Computer" shortcut after reboot, I don't know if it was a "explorer.exe" brekdown, I cannot even delete that My Computer shortcut it appears all the time..
