dwbulldawg
Windows Defender came installed on my machine. My Norton has anti spy/adware so I did not need it. Deleted it and each time I boot up, a popup appears stating the program could not start and to restart my machine. There is not a Windows Defender in my program files. How do I get rid of the pop up? AlanHo
If it were me I would keep Windows Defender and ditch Norton - like some others here - I would never allow a Norton programme near my computer ever again.

I tried windows defender for ages, and it never found anything that other programs did, so I uninstalled it. I have decided to give it another try, and to date it has found nothing. I much prefer SUPERANTiSpyware, Malware Bytes and Spyware blaster. For Firewall and AV, I use ESET Nod 32. :D
