kurt_f
I recently recorded michael jackson: the world says goodbye using windows media centre... i imported it into windows movie maker and then into windows DVD maker... everything runs smoothly.. it burns without a problem... but when i come to play it.. it stops roundabout the halfway point. The actual programme is only 2.7 gb, so it cant be space problems. Does anyone have any ideas?
AlanHo
Have you first checked that the file plays all the way through using Windows media Player? If so we know the file is OK and the problem lies either with Movie maker or the DVD burning software

AlanHo
I guess you are going to have to find some conversion software to convert the file to .avi or another supported format. There are a few on Google search that claim to be free - but you usually have to pay for such software. The free versions tend to be "taster" that either watermark the video or only convert a minute or two - you then have to pay for the full version. If you have the Nero suite installed - give it a try - I recently managed to convert some obscure video file using it.
