DeL337--
Hey all, first post :)I'm not a noob relative to most people, I maintain a dual boot, sometimes triple boot system with Linux, XP Tablet Edition and sometimes Win 7 or OS X Leopard. I prefer using a terminal over a GUI for most things, especially debugging programs that won't start, but the Windows command prompt is close to useless.. Not a big Windows fan, but each to his own.Anyways whenever I'm listening to music and I open the lid of my laptop the sound stops for a split second, it doesn't really bother me that much, it's just really annoying..I think it has something to do with accessing the hard drive because it used to stutter whenever I opened a new program until I replaced the hard drive with a new, bigger one.The mouse cursor sometimes stutters too but very rarely, usually when there's alot of things happening at once.Anyone know what the cause could be?Aaron. catgate
A friend of mine had a similar problem and he found that by leaving the box switched off it never happened..He thought it could have been shortage of electrons in the in the circuitry or a wobbly bearing on the HDD reading arm.
