mojooz
is there a way of searching for individual items in a long Windows Explorer page? Eg. in a folder if I have hundreds of mixed mp3 and m4a files can I select all of only one type? If I'm searching a long list of images or documents could I search for one containing specific text or numerals like I can within a webpage? Many thanks for any assistance. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Welcome to the Windows Forum. The only way I know is using Windows Search (e.g. for *.mp4). Or if you have a desktop search (Windows, Google, Copernic, etc.) you can search quicker and with more parameters.
D4\/!d
hello mojooz, welcome aboard.I click the column heading. For example I go to the top of the Type column and click the heading and it sorts the images and music files into order.I also use the keyboard. Press B and it jumps to the first file that starts with the letter B. Press W and it jumps to the W's.
