cassio2506
I use DragonNaturallySpeaking10 (DNS10). All was well until I installed Vista Home Prem SP2. DNS10 would not load. Tried to uninstall DNS10 and got the dreaded MS Error 1722 from Installer. Got Remove tool from Nuance (they make DNS) and that worked. Tried to reinstall DNS10 but once again got the Error 1722, Happened at what looked to be the very end of the install process (location -JustExit). SP2 is bundled with msi/dll version 4.5.Anybody with help? Anybody know of an alternative to msi.dll?
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Welcome to the Windows Forum.MSI is the Windows Installer; there is no alternative to it.The best way to resolve this, I think, is to contact the support desk of the manufacturer that developed your software. -pops-
A comprehensive account of error 1722 is given in http://www.pc-error-repair.org/pc-code-err...ler-error-1722/Note that there are several instances of software advertisements that claim to fix this error. Those are not what the article is about and I am not recommending them - that is up to you.
