Unknown processes and services running on Vista

Hi.

What is the best way of showing a list of the processes and programs running in the background on Vista? My daughters laptop is now running very very slowly and has so many programs running in the background, I dont know which to switch off. When I run the laptop in safe mode, the speed is very good.

I would like to be able to show a list on this forum, so that you guys may be able to advise on which processes/programs to switch off.

could you post a screenshot of the list of these services?

how to do that: open Taskmanager [CTRL ALT DELETE], goto the Processes tab and either make multiple screnshots, type over the list, or stretch the window to show the processes

Hitman Pro also appears to require an annual licence payment ?
