-pops-
To install SP3 successfully you need your computer to be free of malware - including viruses. It is also advisable to disconnect all peripheral items such as printers, scanners - all external things that are plugged into the machine but not, of course, the monitor, keyboard and mouse. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
See also this topic on the subject of Service Pack 3.To avoid re-downloading the service pack, you can order the SP on CD from Microsoft, or download the SP install package; both are available from here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322389/. christy
To avoid this problem first of all check what are the requirements of 3D pack, may be it requires high GB Ram or HD. Also scan your PC for viruses, with the help of any good anti virus. some times they inhibit the installation and create the critical situation as well.
