farmville Posted September 16, 2009 Report Share Posted September 16, 2009 HELP - I have Windows XP Professional, no problems up until this week... cannot connect wirelessly, something happened I believe when windowns service pack 3 updated. My router Linksys Broadband 2.4 GHz broadband rounter. I called Microsoft and some foreign fellow told me I have to get a 2-3 year warranty onmy laptop. I asked him why my laptop I have a 3 year old computer, why did I have to pay for support? Anyway, can someone assist me and provide me with a link and/or how to restore my registry (Per microsoft guy) to get me up and running again wirelessly... I have had Linksys for over a year no problems until this week. I called Comcast and they stated it waseither my linksys or windows. Went to run, typed in cmd, then in DOS typed in INCONFIGand received this message "unknown media status error code unknown, what do I do?????
