Paul95320
I keep getting a message that my E drive disk is full. To fix, it says to remove data in the Trash Bin....did that. It also says remove programs. I am unable to find the "programs" or files for 200+ gigabytes it says is being used. What do I do????
-pops-
It would be very unusual for a drive other than "C" to contain programs. Presumably this is a drive used for storage. In this case the thing to do is either remove some of the data on to another drive (possibly an external one) or delete some of the stored data.USB connected external hard drives of large capacity are not expensive nowadays and should answer your problem. Dencandy
Yes, as -pops- writes, you probably need to clean out the garbage on the drives. First I suggest you have a look at Add/Remove programs (from Control Panel) and uninstall anything that you don't need by right clicking on it to open the uninstall utility.Next open My Computer, right click on the first drive or partition, select Properties, then run disk cleanup. Repeat for each drive/partition.Later, members can recommend more thorough systems of cleaning out garbage if you stll have space problems.
