Amy Posted October 8, 2009 Report Share Posted October 8, 2009 ok so we have a acer aspire x1200 and its been working very good and all but all of a sudden it dosent. it takes forever to load up and it freezes when you do anything. so we erased all the names and made a new one with nothing on it and it still dosent work at all. it takes 10 min for task manager to pop up! so i wanted to set it back to factory settings to fix it but it dosent load when i put the recovery disks in. is there any other way to set it back?? i cant do anything on it because it freezes.cant open the start thing, cant load the disks, nothing. someone please help me. Hb_Kai Posted October 8, 2009 Report Share Posted October 8, 2009 Did you change the boot sequence to boot from the disc drive rather than booting the OS from the hard drive?You could try a system restore to go back to a time when this didn't happen?To do this:Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools.And what did you mean you deleted all names? Please install a monitoring program such as SpeedFan to see what your disk and CPU temperatures are.Just wondering, what do you mean by "we erased all the names and made a new one"...?
