Dencandy Posted October 13, 2009 Report Share Posted October 13, 2009 tcpsvcs.exe is an essential part of the networking system. If you're not part of a network it can be disabled in Services. But if you need it, you have a problem as this link shows (HERE). No one seems to have an easy solution, but if you are using a 3rd party backup tool, try uninstalling it then installing a new version. You could also check if any other sevices are running when you are doing the backup as the problem is related to excessive CPU usage.
