Easy way of running Vista apps in XP?

I don't think there is a way of doing this easily.

It's a fault of the software programmers in not making their work backwards compatible - even if that was at reduced efficiency.

Microsoft can't really be held responsible as they are always working to progress Windows and they do, as far as they can, now make Windows able to use programs intended for earlier versions.

You could ask the makers of the program if there is a patch or add-on to do what you want but I'm somewhat doubtful as it may be relying on technology or techniques not available in XP.
