spl3001
Hi all, first post.I have come across an issue at work. We have been copying small files (~20KB) to a Unix machine from Windows XP Professional computer with no hitches for months/years. Recently the machine was replaced with a Windows Vista Business machine. Now every time we try to copy these files over, we get an error saying an additional amount of space is required, usually equaling the size of the file. For a while, we could email these files to ourselves and then save them to the Unix directory. Today that has begun giving us a "need more space" error box as well. We moved over to an XP machine today and were able to copy the files over. The XP and Vista machine are both logged in as the same Unix user on the Unix machine, and the user has no disk quota; this has been verified. It appears to be an issue in Windows Vista, but I am not sure where the problem lies. Any suggestions?
