Call of Duty 4 Windows 7

Just upgraded my rig and installed windows 7 (64) . But i cant seem to get Call of duty 4 multiplayer working i just get "iw3mp.exe has stopped working". I have tried running it as admin and under compatibility mode (win xp sp3) but no joy :(

Fixed it the tips were to plug mic in or headphones, its mentioned in the site you posted Hb_Kai so good find :) I plugged my mic in and all works fine now.

I am experiencing the frame rate drops. I want to play COD5

Unfortunately I am at a loss to what could be the cause. The game should run flawlessly and never drop below 60fps, maxed out at any resolution up to 1920x1080

But it does not!

Yeah, you probably should play this game on console instead on PC. Already tried on my brother PC but didn't manage to load the game. Maybe it has something to do with Windows service pack edition.
