AlanHo Posted December 31, 2009 Report Share Posted December 31, 2009 Windows 7 and IE8Forum IP Board skin.I am having irregular problems with inserting pictures into posts when I try to use the Flash Uploader selected in my profile.Sometimes it works – and sometimes I get a message "The server returned an error during upload"If I then open my profile – untick the Flash Uploader and save my profile – immediately followed by ticking the Flash Uploader and saving again – I can then select and upload one or more files without a problem.If I start off with my profile set with the Flash Uploader unticked – I can of course browse and upload one file at a time. However, if I start a new topic and click on Attach This File, then in the help box tick on "Try our advanced loader etc" to open my profile and tick the Flash Uploader box – again the flash uploader works OK.It seems that to use the Flash Uploader I have to activate it before every post I make - otherwise it does not function properly.I don't know whether this is the result of the recent board changes or not - because I cannot recall the Flash Uploader being an option before - so this is the first time I have tried it.
