Just wanted to let people know that there are some great recovery services out there. My friend had 1,500 pictures that got deleted when windows did a checkdisk on it for some odd reason. Anyway that company was filerecovery.webs.com.

There are lots of other good ones out there too, just remember shop for price!

Lol yeah most of us techi's wouldnt have a problem doing it outselves. It was more meant as a reminder to those less techi that there is help out there for them if they are willing to pay.

Whilst we are still on the subject of file recovery Easeus are offering their normally $69.95 "Disk Recovery Wizard" - Free !!! For a limited period of time.

I downloaded it just before this post to make sure the offer was still on, - so get in and fill yer boots !!

Download was from "Major Geeks" (5.86 Mb) Works with Vista, so cant see any reason it shouldn't work with Windows 7.

I couldn't install it because I've already got the Pro version installed. The Pro version is a darn impressive bit of kit. The only recovery that I have used that gets stuff back and it is still in folders rather than random files spread all over the place.

Obviously a sales pitch on their part to get people interested in their products. - But never mind. Free is Free. :)
