dande
A very recent problem for this ageing non-techno! Yes, he's back again but ot sure if this is the right place to request help but . . .When I tried to open several web sites this morning (which I use daily), the graphics don't show, and all the links, etc. are simply listed in basic font down the left hand side of the page - and don't work! Most web pages open as usual. I now use Chrome as default browser but tried Firefox and same problem occurs. Operating System Windows XL Home.Any suggestions, please, in "Dummies" language for me , of course!? Many thanks.

dande
Happy New Year to you, too, MANEMAN. Yes, my Thumbnails are behaving perfectly, thank you!I probably haven't mentioned we now live in Turkey, having abandoned the UK Rat Race some 13 years ago. I only mention this in case it may be relevant. As far as I can ascertain, the only websites I am unable to access are: Daily Mail Online, Daily Telegraph Online, TripAdvisor (very frustrating cos I am Local Expert for two towns in Turkey) and AOL Mail - and I have been opening them all every day until this morning! Same propblem with them all; the links are just listed inbasic font along one side and fail to open. All other sites I use regularly open quickly including for example BBC News, my gmail accounts, Turkey Central Forum on which I am Moderator, our online banks in the UK and here in Turkey and many many others.I have them all on Bookmarks with Google Chrome (but I have the same problems with Firefox and Internet Explorer) but I have also tried to open them direct by searching Google in case it was a Bookmarks problem.I have tried the obvious and re-booted the laptop but no luck.Any ideas? Many thanks.
