duncan147
Hello,I recently transplanted a HDD from a failed XP machine to a second XP machine in order to recover the data. Most of the files were fine and there was no indication of HDD errors or corruption before or after the failure of the first machine. However, the MyDocuments folders for three of the user accounts are not accessible. An error of "Access denied" is generated upon opening, and properties shows "0 bytes, 0 files and folders". I am logged in as Administrator, but do not seem to have the option to modify the permissions or ownership of these files. The three accounts whose MyDocuments folders have this issue were password protected logins; the two non-password protected accounts have fully accessible folders. How can I retreive these files? Thanks in advance.
