basisguy Posted February 10, 2010 Report Share Posted February 10, 2010 Hi,I have encountered a strange issue with msconfig on windows xp professional where, even when i am logged in as the administrator and try to change the startup items, i get the following message."An access denied error was returned while attempting to change a service.
