Windows XP start-up problem

Hi,

Today I tried installing a second HDD. Windows XP now won't even read any of the HDD including the original HDD alone. When I power on the PC it makes a few noises and then reboots. It does not even get to the page where you enter BIOS setting. The keyboard lights don't light up.

Both of the HDDs are SATA. Inserting the windows CD does not cause start-up from CD either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
