burymore
I have a year and a half old Toshiba laptop that has a virus I simply cannot get rid of. I have used every sort of malware possible (AVG Anti Virus, Malwarebytes, Superantispyware) it will not go away. Here is what the virus does. It has infected my system restore file, and if I try to restore my system back to an earlier date it claims that the system restore is disabled and needs an administrators permission to work. The worst thing it has done is its infected both Firefox and Internet Explorer, so if I do a search for say...computer help...it will instead send me to some porn or viagra site. Doesnt matter what the search is for.So I am sick of it, and want to just save my important files, then reload windows from scratch. However I received NO discs when I bought the computer. I assume that a clean version of Windows is partitioned on here, but I have no idea how to go about reloading it. So how do you do that? I have looked for methods on the internet, but they all require a boot disc or a Windows disc. How do you delete the version of windows I have and reload it from the partition? I need a step by step method....hopefully.Thanks in advance.
