Xphreek
So, i just got Battlefield: Bad company 2.I tried playing it and I could barely stand it, the frame rate was horrible and the captions didnt match up with the sound. I turned all the settings way way low and that helped a bit but not much.I have an AMD dual core 2.4Ghz processor, 3Gb of RAM, and a video card that is 1Gb. Not sure of the speed on the video card. Maybe theses specs just arent good enough or maybe something is wrong somewhere. Any help?

-pops-
What programs do you have running in the background?Modern computer games are very hungry on resources (the minimum requirements mean just that and anything over that will be all the better) so that if you have other things running then there is a possibility of poor performances such as you're experiencing.Try playing the game after a cold re-boot where you can be fairly certain that there is the minimum running, apart from your game.
