jimqian
Hi everyone。My computer is Windows XP professional. HP WorkStation xw4200. There are 2 OS systems on this computer. One is Windows XP and another is RHEL5.0. So Grub Loader is installed too. After installing the update the Windows package KB977165, the WinXP system is crashed. All the update steps are from one of the Microsoft Support Specialist. The real problem is after update, the system can not be restarted and it get into indefinitely rebooting. The Microsoft Support Specialist suggest me to start system using the Recovery CD. But the problem is it can not reboot from the CD-ROM any more. So it cannot be reintalled. I cannot get into the Safe Mode, the Safe Mode Command Prompt. But the RHEL5.0 system can start succefully. What should I do next? Can I rescue my Windows XP system? How can I reinstall it?Thank youJimQian
