raziiq
Hi There.Well, my Vista is been attacked by a malware. I am on Vista Ultimate. Here is the situation i m in.Whenever i start my PC, after logging into my Account, no desktop appears, only a Black Window. So i CTRL + ALT + DEL to launch Task Manager and then in new task i used "explorer" to get the desktop. Whenever i try to msconfig, it suddenly disappears and pc restarts and even the regedit is showing "Disabled by Admin". Also in each folder of my PC, there is an exe file of the folder name, i googled for this but advises there are also not working for me, as msconfig and regedit are not showing uphere is what i already did* I have already tried the method of Group Policy to enable registry editing tool but its not working.* I tried the safe mode, regedit is still showing "Disabled by Admin", however msconfig opens up and these are weird things i see in msconfig "Bron-Spizaetus" and "Tok-Cirrhatus" and "Empty" , so i unchecked them, and restarted in Normal mode again, but same thing is happening, no desktop, no regedit, no msconfig. Even folder options are grayed out.Any suggestions on how to solve this??
-pops-
What anti-virus software do you have? Is it running correctly?Have a look at http://www.techtalkz.com/computer-security/464544-manual-virus-deletion-without-using-any-antivirus-software.html
Dencandy
And if that doesn't work, I think you are going to have to re-install Vista as it seems your basic operating system has been thoroughly corrupted. I hope you have back-ups of all your important data files.
