Windows Autoplay Stopped Working

Recommended Posts

I've always used Windows Autoplay to import photos on my Win Vista laptop. This time when I attempted to change options to change folders, autoplay had to "restart," but didn't come back. Now, whenever I reconnect the camera, the autoplay window shows for a few seconds then disappears.

Any odea what's going on or how to reinstate autoplay?

Thanks,

Ron

Microsoft have a free download called "Autoplay Repair Wizard" for Windows XP. I don't know whether this will work with Vista or whether there is a Vista version. Have you exhausted Google search?

Also - try entering "autoplay" in your Windows Help window and see what it comes up with (in Windows 7 there appears to be lots of useful info).
