Password Problems In Outlook

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I am getting really frustrated with this.

I have 3 email accounts with different user names, however whenever I save the password it saves for the duration that outlook is open for. When i reopen it it prompts me for the password and when I edit the accounts the password field has returned to blank!!!!

How can i overcome this, is there a setting somewhere that I've missed, I have checked the "save password" box!

I have also noticed that passwords are not saved in Internet Explorer either, like they used to be!!!

I am running XP home edition, Outlook 2002 and IE 6

use the instructions for W2000. Just one tiny little incy wincy problem though. M$ knowledge base seems to be down!!! :o so you might have to pop back later on for a look. someone has obviously forgotten to put the plug back in after they made a cup of tea!!!
