I want to safely wipe my all data from hard drive so that no one can recover my confidential data from my PC. I formatted my computer. Is it possible that data can recover after formatting, If yes then please tell me the way by which i erase my data so that no one can recover it. -pops- Posted May 11, 2010 Report Share Posted May 11, 2010 It is generally understood that the only way to guarantee data removal from a hard drive is to physically destroy the drive - either smash it with a hard object or chemically dissolve it.Is your data really that confidential? If it is, install a new drive before selling the machine.Is this a disguised advertisement for software, by chance? Prove to me it isn't before the thread is deleted. As for advertisement for software concern, I was searching for the way by which i can remove my data safely, then i got that software, I think here i can get solution of every problem related windows with experts that's why i asked views of experts on that type of software.
