I'm lending this laptop and will use a desktop for the next months. I just want to know if there is a way to bring all my system configurations to this new computer. It took me some time to install all I need. I know that I can't copy the whole system to the other computer HD because of hardware configuration differences and, probably, license restrictions (I never tried it, so I really don't know). But, is there a way to copy program and system files in such a way as to reproduce my system state on a new computer. I imagine there isn't, since, apart from hardware configurations there is also the problem with software licenses, but, maybe, someone has a shortcut to avoid having to reinstall and configuring all again.thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The problem is that the hardware is very different, so I will finish up having more trouble setting drivers and correcting problems than reinstalling the softwares and add-ons etc. Anyway, thanks for your help and interest.
