jmaster18
I recently installed windows 7 and I tried to install Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 but the installation stops with an error messagge saying ''The installation location you selected does not have 1863 MB free disk space.Free up space from the selected install location or choose a different install location''The wizards automatically starts to install the program in a partition where only windows files are and I cannot choose another partition. What Can i do?I cant freeup space on E because there are only windows files nothing else. MANEMAN
Not quite sure I can get my head around the question.I think you will have to re-phrase it, giving full details of your current partitions, free disk space on those partitions, designated letters for those partitions, and what the partitions are used for.You know these things, - we have no way of knowing these things.I cant freeup space on E because there are only windows files nothing else. What Windows Files ?What is E: used for ?What is the designated Disk letter that you have your operating system installed on.How much space do you have free on the disk that you have your operating system installed on ? The installation location you selected does not have 1863 MB free disk space. What was the installation location you selected ?John.
jmaster18
E is the disk partition where I have windows 7 installed. There are only windows program data and these kind of folders. There isnt too much free space. The problem is(was, because i found some kind of solution)that I cant select disk partition, the install shield wizrd begins automatically without asking me to select disk partition.Anyway I resized partition E and now I installed MS office there. MANEMAN
Well done that man. :) Thank you very much for letting us know how you got on with the problem.Other people reading may just benefit from what you have said if they find themselves in a similar predicament.Unfortunately there are still quite a few installation wizards that give no choice, and automatically install to the C: Drive as this is usually the default drive for an Operating System.John.
