Paul
Prescribed NOT legalized as I believe it alleviates some ailments such as arthritis pain.

Scarthy © ® ™
 Although I do NOT feel like it should be legalised, I do feel that it would probobally have less impact on the problems in society than alcohol has had over the years. There are far more alcohol related incidents in casualty on a Friday/ Saturday night than cannabis ones. There are also more abuse cases through alcohol in the home.It would be interesting to get hold of some statistics from Amsterdam to see what impact it has had there before and after legalisation in recent years... :D
Agent Smith
I have to agree with Paul. Perhaps it should be available for certain problems on prescription, but not legalized. Mr. M.

Guest Machine_1969
Not bothered.....I still wouldn't use it if it was legal.
Guest Leo49
Of course it should be legalised - if only to synchronise the law and reality. Can't imagine anyone's been busted for a spliff in years.
Guest Cookie
Maybe if it were made legal it should have the same safeguards as Drink and Driving. Mind you, I supoose you could always float over the other traffic. :P

Guest Shirley_Crabtree
I don't like the effect cannabis gives personally. It's ok when I'm drunk but when I'm sober it makes me feel paranoid and wierd. Also there's cannabis and cannabis, there are offshoots known as Skunk etc which are exceptionally strong...I once had a toke of a very strong Skunk and suffered a rather bad "whitey".A whitey is when someone goes in beyond their depth and is totally overpowered by the effects resulting in a pallid complexion....hence whitey!Medical purposes aside I have mixed views on legalising cannabis.....If it were available legally it would stop users having to buy from "pushers" who try to "push" stronger stuff onto their punters! But I still think it is a dangerous drug....Cannabis users always say it is no worse than alchohol....yet most users I know wake up to a spliff to "sort out their head".The funny thing is that Cannabis has a totally different effect on the user than alcohol.....It makes you feel totally friendly and luvvy whereas.....well we've all seen the effects of booze on a Friday night....drunken ass-holes fighting and they don't even know why the next day....this doesn't happen with Cannabis! Scarthy © ® ™
I feel that cannabis is not any worse than alcohol really. The stigma with it is that it is illegal and people fear it and do not have enough knowledge about it.Cannabis users always say it is no worse than alchohol....yet most users I know wake up to a spliff to "sort out their head".Fair point, and true in some cases, but not in all the cases. You see, not all drinkers are alcoholics and drink first thing in the morning, some moderate their intake to the weekends or social occasions. It's a personal choice is the amount of anything one consumes/ takes. Also how many people have a strong black coffee and cigarette first thing in a morning - same thing really (other than the strength of them), but legalised drugs ! (caffiene and nicotine ). My big problem with cannabis being legalised is more to do with users driving under it's influence. There are enough drunk drivers about, and they can be monitored with breath tests. There needs to be tests in place for drugs also.NO DRUGS, ILLEGAL/ LEGAL should be tolerated when peoples lives are at risk. :D
