C drive has all the Windows data while D drives has all my documents, games, porn, etc. If I update from XP SP3 to 7 will I be able to utilize all the stuff I have from my D drive as long as it is compatible with Windows 7? Is it because it has to be added to Windows registry or something similar?I think so, all I know for sure is that all the programs have to be reloaded but any documents will still work if the program will install. The games could be difficult if you haven't saved your progress to a file of your own making rather than the one the game wants to put them in, I haven't tried it with games so I don't know Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
