naif
I am new to windows and appriciate any help. I have created a folder that contains about 300 or more jpeg files. I have transferred that folder to a cd, but that has little to do with my question except that I wish to make list of those jpeg titles on a Wordpad or Notepad file. I would like a wordpad document with the .jpg titles that I can keep on my harddrive, so that I can refer to that list without having to insert the CD into my drive. Here's the question: Can I copy all titles in one swoop and paste them into the Wordpad document? When I highlight and copy all the jpg icons in the folder, then try to paste it into Wordpad, the actual images are pasted -not the titles, and I am unable to paste into Notepad at all. Is there a shortcut to copy all of the titles only and not copy the actual images or files? The only method I know of is to triple click on the icon, or right-click and chose "rename" so that I can copy each title one at at time -with over 300 titles, that may take me all day.thanks for any help. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Welcome to the Windows Forum. When you write "titles", you mean file names? I think that such tools exist; I will do a little research, then post back later.
