Let me start from the beginning. I bought an Asus G51 laptop from bestbuy about 9 months ago. It originally came with Vista, but i was given a free upgrade to windows 7. Now i upgraded it, and everything worked FINE. I had no trouble at all with this laptop.

I recently bought a desktop, so trying to make up for what i spent, i decided to sell the laptop. I put it up on ebay, figuring, just a quick wipe, and ill send it on its way. Lucky for me i had no bids, because i had to cancel the auction.

My husband did a system restore on it. Which brought it back to being Vista. I did all the updates, all the drivers, like i had done before. But now, when i try to upgrade it to windows 7, it doesnt work. It keeps freezing, or starting over, or saying files are missing. Mainly freezing though.

Is there something we are doing wrong? Best buy wants 130 bucks to install this thing and i told them theyre nuts. We HAD this working!!! I just dont get what happened?
