Guest moon
SurfinGuard is an excellent background app. which helps bridge the gap between database releases. It works on heuristics only and doesn't require definitions. I've run it for a couple of years and never had any conflicts with AVG, ZA or my latest firewall, Outpost. Free. Chris
Stinger is a stand-alone utility used to detect and remove specific viruses. It is not a substitute for full anti-virus protection, but rather a tool to assist administrators and users when dealing with an infected system. Stinger utilizes next generation scan engine technology, including process scanning, digitally signed DAT files, and scan performance optimizationsYou need to download the new version as and when released as it has no Automatic Update.
