I didn't liked it so I removed it moments later (with REVO Uninstaller). The problem is that the search bar on the IE8 as simply vanished. How can I solve this? bludgard Posted September 8, 2010 Report Share Posted September 8, 2010 Hi,manewinho.And welcome.Any restore points you may have pre-dating this issue to revert back to?Any disk image back-ups to recover from?You could restore IE to default settings but you may lose all add-ons.If you wish to go this route,I would suggest that you create a system image in case you want to get back to what you have at this point.To restore IE8 to default:click on Tools in IE>Intenet Options>Advanced tab>Reset>Reset.
