Just got myself a new (2nd hand!) laptop. Connected it to my wireless internet, not a problem there. Was on google, Facebook, everything!!! Then i singed out and later signed back in, went to get onto Facebook(which i had bookmarked) but it wouldn't load. It tells me that ''this webpage is not available'', which it clearly is as i can access it through my other laptop. Yea so basically only google related sites will work. i flushed my dns in the command promt and all.

Help! :(

oh and its a dell and i use google chrome!

Good advice........

.............. But..... The original question was dated -

Two Thousand and Ten - 2010 !!!!!.................. 2010 !!!!Are we entering into some kind of weird time warp here ??? :uhm:

I have also posted about ** Complete Internet Repair ** A few times.

Topic Summary

running netsock always works if you're experiencing internet badness on windows.

run cmd.exe (command prompt)

type, "netsh winsock reset" This will revert any ip/tpc setting changes on the machine to the windows (pre-factory) default. Works in xp/vista/7

more information and automated version (Microsoft)
