Tweak for transparent window background

I apologize if it's the incorrect forum.

I'm looking for anything that would enable the white background of the windows to become transparent. I know how to enable full transparency, but I'd like to know if there's something out there that wouldn't fade the text, icons or pictures in the window, only fading the back. Thanks.

I can't help on this topic myself, maybe someone else can. I think however that they may need more information, as to what operating system etc you are using. Best of luck.:)

Thanks for at least bumping the thread, it was getting pretty quiet in here, really. Yes, I agree, Mahler, fabulous composer. Though, I tend to prefer Bruckner, personally.
