AlanHo Posted September 21, 2010 Report Share Posted September 21, 2010 I will not be surprised to learn that I am possibly the only one here who did not know this feature of Windows 7.Right click on a programme icon in the task bar and a list pops up of all the recent documents/files you have opened with that programme.You can then left click on a file in the list and it will open. Digerati Posted September 21, 2010 Report Share Posted September 21, 2010 Yeah, that works great for programs like Word or even your browser - but then again, some folks may not like that history of your whereabouts being so readily available to other users (or people looking over your shoulder). You can clear individual items from that "jumplist" as I think it is properly called, by right-clicking on the item and clicking "Remove from this list". If you don't want any history saved, right click on Start > Properties then uncheck, "Store and display recently opened items in the Start menu and the taskbar".
