Removing the Security Box that pops up all the time.

This might be better for a script forum, but it is a direct related problem for Windows XP...

Here is the problem... when I go from http non secure to https secure, a security box pops up and asks if I want to view both secure and non secure info.... when a script such as WSH or autoscript or any script, the program freezes and not even the script can click the button to remove the box... therefore the program freezes..

Is there a way to remove the box without physically using the mouse to click the yes or no button?

I have tried totally disabling the security system to no avail..

You are strongly advised not to totally disable the security system as this will make your system very vulnerable to attack. I don't think you can overide the security box with a script, otherwise the purpose of the security box would be destroyed. I think the the freezing you experience is to protect the security setting from being over-ridden

You might be able to change it from within Internet Options. Open Internet Options and select Advanced. Scroll all the way down to the Security section. Near the bottom is option that reads something like Warn about Change between Secure & Non-Secure zones. Make sure that box is not checked. Re-start IE and test what happens.

I would agree with Dencandy on not disabling security measures.I have read many threads in forums about security related issues because someone chose to disable this or delete that.I would hate to see another post by you trying to undo what has been done.

If you must disable this "security box",I would highly recommend you do a full image backup of your OS in case you ever want to recover from any damage it may cause.Creating backups is a good practice to subscribe to,even if they just sit around collecting dust.I am confident that you will happen upon a chance to use them and will be relieved to have something to recover from.
