Do I activate them on per server role? Or just activate the whole exchange server at once?Another is if I have 300+ users on my network who are connected to use the exchange server, do I have to buy CALs for these 300+ users to be able to get connected to the exchange server and use it?I would really appreciate it if someone could assist me understand this. Jurge Austin
Hello,For the normal SQL databases, Microsoft imposes a fee for each entity connected with the database which was called a Client Access License (CAL) and could be processor based, user based or device based.
