Please do not shut down your computer."What does it mean? from where does this updating process occur? What are the updating features?Can I see later what processes have been updated???? What are the updating features?Can I see later what processes have been updated????Ok i am going to take a guess and say your running windows 7!It sounds like your windows updates are set to download and install updates automatically. (see attachment)Configure windows updates; Go to Start > All Programs > Windows Updates > Change Settings on left hand side of windows. (see Attachments)To view installed updates Go to Start > All Programs > Windows Updates > View Update History also in left hand panel.any more questions let us know.
