Lok3sh
Hey guys!So I did a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on my laptop a few days ago, and I've been having a very annoying problem... When I cut something and paste it to another location, it looks like nothing happened. The original file is still in the original location, and the destination folder is still empty. If I try and open the file, it says the file is missing. Now I refresh my desktop and boom the file disappears and appears where I originally pasted it. Its very annoying and I don't want to have to re install Windows all over again. Any fix for this problem will be MUCH appreciated! Thanks! Digerati
Have you run all the updates since your reinstall?See if this helps: Force Immediate Refresh
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
How d you cut & paste - Ctrl-X & Ctrl-V ? Can you cut & paste other things like text?Anyway, this is not something I would ever do - cut & paste files; drag & drop is much safer to do. Lok3sh
Yeah I have all the updates installed. And yes I cut paste with ctrl+x and ctrl+v and I've been doing it forever! This problem is new!
